Ragstone - Beat-driven alt rock with flavours of indie and rap. These three Gloucestershire natives bring catchy melodies, honest lyrics, and a set that moves from playful to heartfelt, with grooves guaranteed to get you moving.

SANCTUM | GWENIFER RAYMOND
Welsh instrumentalist Gwenifer Raymond, is set to announce her third studio album, to be released September 5th on Canadian label We Are Busy Bodies. Last Night I Heard the Dog Star Bark is a hybrid of the ancient and the futuristic, where the arcane etchings of occult folk horror fuse with the unfathomable equations of the cosmos. As celestial drones and mutant folk meet a frenetic blues that bends and twists like space-time, on her new album Raymond finds herself evoking the work of pioneering rocket scientists, the words of fictional hobo prophets and the concepts of mathematical infinity.
The Guardian has described her as a “profound talent” whilst The Observer praised her “awe-inspiring technique and intense musicality”, and Uncut Magazine has championed her “fast-developing talents as a composer of eerie menace.” She has since toured Europe, the US and Canada with the likes of Michael Chapman, Michael Hurley, The Handsome Family, Lankum, Charlie Parr, Richard Dawson, Ryley Walker, and Squid.

Sanctum | CURTAIN TWITCHER + GRANDAD
Sheffield based female electronic duo Sophie Stone and Grace Griffin generate corrupted downtempo post Balearic chug pulses and wobbles, throbs and twitches- full of fat noises and bolshy Moogery. It's human and appealingly analogue. More Delia Derbyshire's Radiophonic Workshop than DAF, More Tangerine Dream than Depeche Mode. Not your average bloketronica.
Their exciting new record “Leap The Dips” emerged from machine jamming with a creative freedom that only comes from genuine friendship: “We’ll talk about pretty much owt if you provide the tea and cakes”.. A light in the dark. But sometimes hope can fade and if that happens, how do we get it back? Frankly, this music doesn’t behave itself in any way you might expect. Plugged in post rave pop can be far too orderly. Music should be messy. Even on occasion revealing a tune your mum could hum.
“Northern Electro at its mesmerising best” - Now Then Magazine
“Love it! Electronic wonkiness at its finest” - Richard Norris (The Grid)
Stroud favourite GRANDAD returns with their signature sonic maximalism for an attention deficit age. Featuring electronic skulduggery, shoehorned geetar riffs and occasional coordinated bits, this is a line up not to be missed!

The Sanctuary Series: Jonathon Porritt
The Sanctuary Series brings together visionary thinkers, change makers, and creatives to spark dialogue and inspire action on themes of economic justice, sustainability, community, and the arts.
Sir Jonathon Porritt CBE, renowned environmentalist and founder of Forum for the Future, joins the Sanctuary Series to discuss the themes of his powerful new book Hope in Hell: Love, Anger and the Fight for the Planet. Drawing on decades at the forefront of environmental action, he explores what it means to stay hopeful and determined in the face of climate crisis

Sanctum | Lili Holland-Fricke
Lili Holland-Fricke is an experimental cellist and songwriter whose work explores the outer edges of her instrument, weaving introspective, dreamlike fragments into gently unsettling sonic worlds. She released her debut album ‘dear alien’ - a collaborative project with producer Sean Rogan - with Melodic Records last November.
‘…an unexpected take on the meeting of improvised sound and avant-songwriting, buzzing with a quiet energy that both shields the listener from and submerges them in a distinctively contemporary discomfort ‘- The Quietus
‘Holland-Fricke and Rogan prove to be masters at entertaining the intersection between hope and melancholy, keeping you guessing with every passing note as each song unfurls with more complexity, confrontation, and abstraction than the last ‘- Far Out Magazine

Sanctum: Jack Cooper & Tara Cunningham + BELLS
Sanctum Presents: Jack Cooper & Tara Cunningham + BELLS
🌿 Jack Cooper and Tara Cunningham are an improvising duo whose music is largely informed by a shared approach to the guitar; wide open chords, hazy tone and obtuse melody.
Having played alongside each other in a quartet with Heather Roche and Dominic Lash and then most recently in Cooper’s group Modern Nature; their debut album, ‘Pond Life’ was released on Mossy Tapes in January 2025.
‘Pond Life’ celebrates both the sonic potential of clean, un-effected guitar, as well as the naive, exploratory nature of responding to musical parameters in tandem. Notes, pitches and melody swirl around, breaching for air before diving below into the abyss.
🌿BELLS is an evolving ensemble led by multi-disciplinary artist Kandice Holmes, hailing from south London, based on Greek Island Crete. Her ‘prophetic folk’ storytelling is set to experimental textures, from traditional, medieval drone to the psychedelic. The name, symbolic of a desire for their music to act as a clarion call. To speak truth to power, rally people together and raise up praise.
Past collaborations include ‘Gypsy Davey’ with Kikagaku Moyo (Sub Pop, 2020), a spoken word feature on old friends’ Voka Gentle’s ‘DREAD/TKOE’ (2021), and original demo ‘UNION,’ on U.S. label Spinster Records’ mixtape among artists including Lou Turner and Avey Tare (2023).
